Our Work
Musical Steps offers a variety of services and ongoing projects to address the lack of music education in different sectors, including age, lack of resources, and absence of programs at schools. We strive to make music education accessible to everyone. Check out some of our projects we've implemented to work towards this goal.

Local Elementary Schools
We've implemented a year-long program at a local elementary school, teaching around 30 kids within the year in group lessons going over all of the fundamentals of piano including music theory and reading.

Underprivileged Services
We've partnered with a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering the homeless and working poor through providing various services in childcare, education, and housing. We have worked specifically with their daycare services to implement a piano class for the kids under their care.

Senior Homes
We first began our services at a local senior home, teaching senior citizens the basics of piano, whether they were beginners or had played and were looking to relearn.

Ongoing: Private Lessons
Our ongoing project is to find a team of experienced volunteers to teach affordable one-on-one private lessons to beginner children looking to start learning.
